Sassi

I think we can all guess that she is one of the most important characters in the story. Sassi is a rather quiet person with pink long hair. Her hair is down when she is a Butterfly Lady, but when she is in her own world, she wears her hair in a braided ponytail. She gets along with everyone, even if she gets bullied, and she loves Geezmo very much because he is the only thing that used to keep her safe at night when she was sacred. Sassi doesn’t like surprises at all, because they are not always pleasant.
Likes: The colors green and yellow, reading. Sassi also loves spending a lot of time with her mom. They have a very close friendship.
Dislikes: Spiders, dark places and surprises.
Her Dream: To become someone people can look up to.
Role in the story: She is the key to help Princess Leah open any door to dreams, because her intentions are good. But she must also learn something very important about herself before Enchancia can be saved.
Powers: The Rose Wand helps bring out the magic that’s inside of her, such as the Dream Illusion attack, which blows up things. Her wand is also able to take in new powers that are currently only used by the enemy; for this, she has to say a little poem to activate the powers in the Wand. The Diamonds she collects can give her new powers, such as healing others, making someone happy, giving courage, or creating light in darkness.

Geezmo
He used to be a stuffed animal for Sassi to cuddle with at night when she was scared, until the Rose Wand gave him life. He can’t talk, but we as readers can understand his thoughts. He never gets along with Fleep-Flap, because Fleep-Flap is way too bossy.
Likes: The color blue, sweet stuff (especially ice cream), Sassi, and sleeping a lot.
Dislikes: Veggies and Fleep-Flap.
His dream: To fly.
Role in the story: He is Sassi’s best friend, and would do anything for Sassi. In the story, he will give up his freedom to save Sassi and the rest of the characters when Dark Shadow captures them.
Powers: He can hit people with his tail. With the red ball at end of his tail, he can also create light and fog, and make himself invisible. When he gets angry, the little stars on his face turn red, and he is able to lift heavy things up.

Princess Leah

She is the second leader of the Enchancians, and will remain so until her mother, Queen Zoila, regains her power over Dark Shadow. Princess Leah is a person who knows what she wants and won’t stop until she gets it, even if her life is at stake. On the other hand, she can be very impatient, and sometimes she thinks she is the center of the world.
Likes: Flowers, creatures of Limbo, and singing.
Dislikes: Waiting, darkness, and eating fast.
Her Dream: To be a Queen one day.
Role: She must save her world before she can protect all dreams of children and young adults again. She needs to find the Magical Flower that contains 12 Diamonds, and she needs Sassi’s help to do it.
Powers: Magic Dust: With that, she is able to freeze, give life, heal, and vanish.

Fleep-Flap

He is the most trusted adviser of Queen Zoila and Princess Leah, because he is very wise. He also worries a lot and talks too much. Fleep-Flap is scared of most things because everything is taller than him.
Likes: Talking and being bossy.
Dislikes: Geezmo.
His Dream: None at this point.
Role: He guides the others in dreams, and gives them advice.
Powers: None, his mouth. He talks too much and drives everyone nuts. ^___^

Guilhermo

Guilhermo is the Gatekeeper and the Guardian of the Light Book. He also looks after all the traffic that goes in and out of Limbo. He is one of the mysterious characters in the story. Guilhermo is the only one who is able to multiple himself and be everywhere at the same time, but the real him always remains at the center of Limbo, where he guards the Light Book. He has a very close friendship with Princess Leah and he will do anything in his power to help her.
Likes:
Dislikes: Everything that thinks negatively.
His Dream: He doesn’t have any dream, but he wishes for peace to be restored.
Role: He guides the characters from Limbo to other places.
Powers: Guilhermo inherited a medallion when he became a Gatekeeper. It gives him great power. It has countless special powers; all he has to do is think about something, and the medallion will make it come true. However, the medallion is unfortunately not strong enough to control Dark Shadow — he is way to negative.

Khalib

He is very secretive character, because whenever someone tries to get to know him, he turns away. Otherwise, he is very patient and easygoing.
Likes: Music.
Role: He is a spy sent by Dark Shadow and reports everything back to him.
Powers: He uses a lasso to control Mother Nature. (It can create thunder, tornados, rain, etc.)

Cami

Cami is Sassi’s best friend. She is funny, crazy, and sometimes she can be out of control. She is straightforward, and she always speaks her mind. She loves taking bikes apart and rebuilding them. She is rather a tomboy.
Likes: Talking and being bossy.
Dislikes: Negative people and their school uniform, it just too girly.
Her Dream: She wants to be a car racer.
Role: She doesn’t appear much in the story. The only time you will see her is when Sassi returns to her own world, but this may change in time.

Dark Shadow

He is our bad guy, and he has his own reasons to be who he is in the story. I have always believed that no one becomes evil overnight; they always have a reason, and usually feel revenge is the only solution to their problems, even though it doesn’t work like that.

Role: Dark Shadow is a human whose little sister is in a deep sleep she is unable to wake up from, Sleep Death. Once the Enchancians overlooked a dream where a bug was hiding, and it caused a nightmare that this child believed was all real. By the time the Enchancians found the bug, it had become so powerful; they couldn’t do anything to stop it. This has been a secret for a long time.
Of course Dark Shadow was angry that he lost his little sister, and when an old man told him that someone was responsible for her death, because dreams are gardened by some mysterious creatures in a world where no human can step into, Dark Shadow found the gate that lead him to Enchancia, and he discovered he could use his negative energy to easily destroy Enchancia. He wants them to suffer just like he did when he lost the only family he had, so he took the light from them and their access to dreams, and without those, Enchancia is slowly beginning to die.

One day he learns from the Dark Book that the future is not in his favor anymore: someone or something is giving strength to the Enchancians. He decides to send a spy after Princess Leah and Sassi while they are searching for the Magical Flower.
Powers: He uses the Dark Book to make the characters’ journey harder.

Enoch

Enoch is the guardian of the Dark Book. Both Enoch and the book are with Dark Shadow. Enoch forcefully helps the dark lord to destroy everything good, especially the Enchancians.
Role: Achieve
Powers: He controls the Dark Book.
